After 3 weeks rehearsing under the fantastic direction of John Barber we are hitting the road with 'The Gingerbread Man' by Hiccup Theatre. Great to be performing with Kate Spencer and Jake Waring and our stage manager Beth Treen. Music by Ivan Stott & script by Sarah Brigham.

Last week of the mammoth 'Sarah and Duck' tour. In Cumbria today. 3 more get ins, 3 more get outs, 8 more shows. We've had 2 brakedowns in the vans and toured to some very fine theatres.

Opening night of #houndofthebaskervilles @MillAtSonning went well. Great to have puppet maker Sue Dacre and writer Simon Williams in the audience and Mum & Dad too of course!

GILBERT TAYLOR is an actor, puppeteer and musician. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Recent theatre work includes: 'How To Hide a Lion', Polka and Pigtails Productions, UK tour, 'The Gingerbread Man, Hiccup Theatre, UK tour, ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’, The Mill, Sonning, ‘The Singing Mermaid’, Royal & Derngate Northampton & Little Angel Theatre, ‘Kwaidan’, Rouge 28, International Tour, ‘Sarah & Duck’, MEI & Polka, UK Tour, ‘Bear Hunt’, Little Angel, UK Tour, 'I AM BEAST' for Sparkle & Dark, 'The Holy Drinker' for Platform 4 and 'Bookstory' for Monstro Theatre. He has also worked with Norwich Puppet Theatre, Theatre Hullabaloo, Hiccup, Dante or Die and Dotted Line and appeared at The Globe in ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’. He is collaborating on Peter O’Rourkes new show ‘The Dong with the Luminous Nose’.

Gilbert was a founder member of theatre collective Unpacked and performed in their six productions touring the UK and Europe. He also performed in ‘Paramour’ for Chopped Logic.
